PERFORMER I DANCER I ARTIST
Where Movement Begins
Gabrielle Giavanna Cataldo is a dancer and artist currently based in North Carolina. Originally from Jamison, Pennsylvania, her work is shaped by a deep connection to both places. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance & Choreography and a Bachelor of Arts in Arts Administration from Elon University, where she performed in mainstage productions and works by Jiwon Ha, Hyoin Jun, Maurice Watson, Ashley Lindsey, and Alexandra Joye Warren.
Gabrielle’s artistic journey has taken her internationally through her studies at the Florence Dance Center, where she trained with Marga Nativo, Benedetta Ghiglia, and Angelo Egarese, and performed at Teatro La Compagnia in Florence. She is a former company member of Project Moshen, Philadelphia’s all-female contemporary dance company. Alongside her performance career, Gabrielle brings a strong administrative lens to the field through her work as a Dance Studio Operations Manager and administration experience through an internship with Parsons Dance Company.
Energetic and deeply expressive, Gabrielle approaches movement with passion, curiosity, and intention. Outside the studio, she finds inspiration in the mountains—skiing, training, teaching, and spending time with the people who ground her.
